About Sheila
For the past 12 years, Sheila Humberstone has engaged in the full time practice of state government affairs. She has been at the center of some of the biggest and most successful, and often complex, issues in recent times including but not limited to: re-regulation of the state’s Certificate of Need laws, Sunday alcohol sales, and re regulation of the State’s Coin Operated Amusement Machine Industry (gaming). She specializes in complex issue management, association representation, as well as healthcare policy in the legislature, state agency, and other regulatory bodies. She has a reputation of working extremely hard on behalf of her clients, using her relationships as well as her concrete understanding of complex issues, and this model has been very successful.
Sheila was a competitive Division 1 athlete. Throughout her athletic career she demonstrated, a strive for excellence and an understanding and appreciation for the art of preparation. These unique skills continue to serve her well in the business world.
Sheila holds a Masters Degree from Emory University and a BS from Clemson.
